Background Introduction

The Shambhala Kalachakra Mandala Scenic Area began construction in 2005. After more than ten years of effort, a very grand and tall building was completed, integrating modern architecture with Tibetan architectural style. It is a relatively comprehensive place for introducing Tibetan culture and Tibetan Buddhist culture in the Tibetan region. The entire cultural exhibition center covers an area of 22 acres, with a building area of 25,131 square meters. The top level features a white stupa with a gilded dome. The main building has 11 floors, stands about 60 meters tall, and the Shambhala Kalachakra Mandala Cultural Exhibition Center, which cost nearly 600 million yuan, was basically completed and opened to the public in July 2015.

First Floor

The spacious hall can accommodate a large number of visitors at the same time, providing consultation and information about the Shambhala Kalachakra Mandala Scenic Area. The second floor is dedicated to the display area of Tibetan culture and secret treasures.
